Parentau, the director, is really young and his main focus is all around sport, in this particular case we see the story of a young guy that has found another way to give honour to the famous Mexican day of the deads.

Sweat, nature, mud, adrenaline and excitement are the main ingredients of this remarkable spot, to see the "Dias de muertos" related with a big mountain bikes festival may sound a bit like a strange mix but the final product is very well packaged.

The ride of the dead makes us also think what it truly means folklore and how to not make a tradition stagnant and stuck in time surrounded by tourists in the same rituals. It shows instead how can be helpful for a community to try new ways to celebrate something that is deeply part of the surrounding area.
